Stud fees & keep charges

Our Stud Fees will be as follows: (Rates in Ireland for fresh semen) Rates for frozen semen and for Rates to other countries, please inquire Suma Stud.

HUNTINGFIELD REBEL		EUR 500.00, payable in two parts: EUR 300 before first service includes one free overnight courier of chilled semen.  Non returnable fee. Balance of EUR 200 payable by 1st October unless a barren certificate is sent to us by that date.
VDL ARKANSAS		EUR 900, Frozen available from VDL Stud, contact us for details.

Keep charges

All Mares. Stabled		EUR 12.00 per day
Mare and Foal at Grass		EUR 6.50 per day
Barren Mare at Grass		EUR 5.50 per day

N.B. Any Mare with a young foal will only be taken in the early part of the year at full rate. Any mare with hind shoes on will also be stabled at full rate so get 'em off!

Transport of semen.

N.B. All semen will be sent this year by Courier unless the clients make their own arrangements to collect it from Suma Stud.

Foaling Service

Owing to a huge demand Suma Stud has agreed to take in a limited number of mares to foal. The service will be on a basis of the mare to come one week before her 340 days and to include everything (except any Vets. fees) until one week after foaling. Terms are Euro1,000 of which half is payable on arrival at the stud. Balance payable on collection.

Our facilities are second to none with large foaling units, closed circuit cameras and well fenced paddocks plus our many years experience of foaling. However, this is an appreciable sum and we would urge breeders to foal their mares themselves. We can be contacted at 046 9024161 or 086 2695787.
