Without question he was one of the best novice jumpers ever seen in Ireland, have won 4 out 5 championships he contended.

2004

After 4 seasons in Ireland siring some outstanding foals (3 year olds in 2004) he has retuned to Holland to stand at stud at VDL and competing where he has already won 3 competitions.

2003

ARKANSAS finished his Dutch holiday after Zwolle Stallion Show where Denis van Tilburg competed him in the Promising Stallion classes. He jumped really well finishing 12th overall.

We were there to support him, then brought him back to Suma for his final stud season in Ireland. He gained fantastic experience during the winter with Denis.

Without question he is one of the leading young jumpers in Ireland having won 4 out of the 5 Championships he has contested.

An exciting & brilliant jumper in 2000. he WON the 4 y.o. CHAMPIONSHIP at the R.D.S. Kerrygold Horse Show and also the CAVAN INDOOR 4 year olds by miles.

At 5 yrs in 2001 he WON the N.I. S.J Championships at Balmoral and finished the season winning the prestigious CAVAN CLASSIC for 5 y.os. In this class he won against the clock in the third round with 10 in the jump off jumping up to 1.50. He also qualified for the RDS Finals.

A lovely young stallion who is bred in the purple being half brother to GLENNRIDGE the international World class jumper of Ulrich Kirchov who sadly died too young. Recently awarded KEUR predicate by the KWPN he had already sired outstanding stock incl. the 2001 5 y.o Champion in the USA. Also to EVEREST, leading stallion in Sweden to produce jumpers. His half sister, HELENA, was the European Champion and another half sister, INDEPENDENCE, was Res. Champion the following year. She has also bred the Internationals LELY & JEZETRA.

ACOBAT II is by ATHLET Z by ALME Z, and in there too are CAPITOL 1, currently No.1 in the world, CALYPSO, GOTHARD & LE MEXICO and a lot of T.B. blood. The dam goes back to the sire line of CHOU CHIN CHOW.

ARKANSAS (as OXFORT) was selected to complete the KWPN test, & also came top in the Anglo European tests for his age group. In 2002 he is now FULLY APPROVED by the Irish Horse Board.

In 2002 ARKANSAS sired an RDS winning foal and in 2003 this filly finished 3rd of 20 in the Yearling class in Balmoral.

His foals are exceptionally well balanced, and most are very like him in type, whatever way the dam is bred. They are lively and attractive with excellent legs and very good over their backs.
